Product Overview

VIAVI MicroNIR OnSite-W system comes with the MicroNIR Pro software suite, which supports data acquisition, calibration, method development, user management, and real-time prediction. With MicroNIR Pro, developers can process data and build complete chemometric models using regression and classification algorithms such as PLS, MBSD, SMV, and PCA. It also supports batch predictions on stored datasets.The software includes tools for instrument performance qualification in compliance with EP 2.2.40 and USP 1119, as well as features enabling 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. An optional enhanced OPC interface is available for seamless integration with process control systems.In addition, the OnSite-W system provides a standalone tablet application with a simplified user interface for field use, supporting both data acquisition and real-time prediction. Recommended hardware and software requirements are listed in the specifications.

With its compact, stainless-steel housing (IP65/IP67) and Bluetooth connectivity, the PAT-W enables non-destructive, in-line analysis without cables or external power.Equipped with dual tungsten lamps and a 128-pixel InGaAs photodiode array, it provides stable spectral performance across the 950–1650 nm range. The PAT-W runs for over 10 hours per charge and is ideal for both fixed and portable applications.Together with the MicroNIR Pro software suite, it supports chemometric model development (PLS, PCA, classification), real-time predictions, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, making it a powerful tool for PAT and QbD applications.
